Are you licensed to operate in Puerto Rico?

Yes. West Security Service, Inc. holds Security Guard Agency license #1200 and Private Detective Agency license #9661, plus a general liability policy of $1,000,000 minimum. It is audited every year by the Puerto Rico and United States Departments of Labor and by the Puerto Rico Police Department.

Pricing depends on the property type, coverage hours and whether the service is armed, unarmed or monitoring. The security assessment of your property is free of charge and the exact quote comes from it.

Do you install the remote monitoring cameras?

Yes. Camera installation is included in the 24/7 remote monitoring service, watched from West Security's own center in San Sebastián 365 days a year.

Do you work with municipalities and government agencies?

Yes. West Security Services holds an ASG eligibility certificate and single bidder registration #201500409, and serves city halls, service centers, schools and municipal facilities across the island.

What is a mobile CCTV unit and what is it for?

Accepted Answer

It is a self-powered trailer-mounted camera tower with solar power and 360° cameras, deployed in hours with no wiring or construction. It is offered for rent for shopping centers, municipalities, festivals, parking lots and open areas where fixed cameras would be expensive or impossible.

Do you handle emergencies outside office hours?

West Security's security service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The administrative office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but the command center answers at any hour.
