Personnel requirements
Every professional on the team meets these requirements before wearing the uniform.
- 01Pass the security officer course: a minimum of 120 hours of classroom instruction, 40 hours of drills and exercises, and a battery of tests.
- 02Thorough personal and professional background check: clean criminal record, psychological evaluation, and negative sex offender status.
- 03Puerto Rico Department of Health certificate qualifying you for the duties of the position.
- 04Routine drug testing.
- 05High school diploma at minimum; a college degree in an industry-related field is preferred.
- 06Experience in the United States Armed Forces with an honorable discharge, or in the Puerto Rico Police Department, is valued.
